Baltic winters and roasting summers

"It's like the experience of a cheap hooker - you either love it or hate it". And never forget, "Du bist in Deutschland, du musst Deutsch sprechen".
Babylon Berlin, Mitte
Built in 1929, Kino Babylon was one of the favourite spots for night time photography. The surrounding area is also worth exploring, with quite a few surprise neon signs in a couple of the shops.
Reingold, Mitte
Behind a plain iron door tucked away on a side street is this speakeasy cocktail bar. Ring the bell to enter (if there's space).
Kastanienallee, Prenzlauer Berg
It is one of the most popular promenades in Berlin with plenty of restaurants, independent boutiques and bars on both sides of the streets. Plenty of good food options - definitely the street that I miss the most from Berlin as well.
Bahnhof Berlin-Friedrichstraße
One of the regular photo spots, I loved the contrasts between the brown roof and iron structures (together with the shadows from the sun, if you're lucky).
Museum der Dinge, Kreuzberg
One of my favourite concepts for a museum so far, The Museum of things is home to a collection of 25,000 historically important design objects.
Best ice cream with so many flavours for the toasty summer days.
French food, small plates, so much nom. Outdoor seating available.
A mini blog containing 5 conceptual places per city that have been carefully curated from my travels.
